Your Customized OEM/ODM Aluminium Cutting Discs Manufacturer
Aluminum cutting discs are specially designed for cutting aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. Aluminum is soft and malleable and sensitive to heat. Thus it is easily adheres and deforms.
In view of the characteristics of aluminum metal, Dome aluminium cutting discs adopt an anti-clogging formula, which effectively reduce the problems of aluminum chip adhesion and cutting heating. Our aluminium cutting discs have an optimized abrasive structure and are reinforced with multiple layers of fiberglass mesh, giving you significant advantages in the efficiency and stability of your cutting jobs. Our cutting discs for aluminum feature the sharpest cutting edges. This effectively reduces heat buildup, preventing deformation or discoloration of the aluminum edges.
As a OEM aluminium cutting wheels supplier, Dome offers private-label customization services across a full range of sizes, from 38mm to 405mm. Our aluminium cutting discs undergo rigorous safety spin testing (at 187% of operating speed) and static balancing, and certificated by MPA, CE, ISO, EN12413, BSCI. We provide top quality at the lowest prices to ensure your brand earns market trust.

Why Use a Dedicated Cutting Disc for Aluminum
Aluminum is soft and highly ductile. Standard metal cutting discs will clogging and lose cutting force because aluminum swarf sticks to the cutting disc surface.
Dome aluminum cutting discs use a non-loading / anti-clogging formulation designed to maintain exposed cutting grains and reduce heat buildup.
| Dome Aluminium Disc | Standard Metal Disc | |
|---|---|---|
| Aluminium loading | Reduced | Higher risk |
| Cutting heat | Lower | Higher |
| Burr formation | Low | Higher |

Silicon Carbide Formulation for Cutting Aluminum
Dome aluminum cutting discs use sharp silicon carbide abrasives with exceptional hardness and high brittleness. This combination helps you cut through aluminum quickly without applying heavy pressure. As the abrasive grains wear down, they break away to expose fresh, sharp edges. This excellent self-sharpening action keeps the disc cutting efficiently while reducing heat buildup throughout the process.

Heat Dissipation Through Open Pores in Aluminum Cutting Discs
inum cut off discs require open pores for heat dissipation. A certain amount of microscopic space must be maintained between the abrasive grains.
- Contains aluminum chips: Aluminum chips tend to stick; the pores provide space for them to be expelled.
- Prevents sticking: Aluminum chips sticking to the cutting edge of the disc can reduce efficiency.
- Enhances self-sharpening: A loose structure allows the silicon carbide to fully realize its self-sharpening potential.
- Cool cutting: The pores allow the coolant to fully contact the cutting edge surface.

Create Your Own Brand of Aluminum Cutting Discs
Customizable: abrasive formula / size / thickness / label / color / packaging / carton / brand.
Aluminum cutting discs feature an anti-clogging formula compared to standard cutting discs. The cutting speed will be faster, but the service life will be shorter. This design can reduce the likelihood of thermal burns.
Because aluminum is a soft material, you’ll need a specific aluminum cutting disc when using an angle grinder. We recommend using an ultra-thin cutting disc with fine-grit abrasive. You can mark the aluminum tube before starting the job. Apply gentle, steady pressure while cutting, and reduce the pressure as you approach the cut. After cutting, you can use a deburring tool and a file to smooth the edges.
Anti-clogging silicon carbide ultra-thin aluminum resin cutting discs are the best choice
Thin cutting discs are typically better for fast, clean cuts on sheet and tubing, while thicker aluminum sections may require a larger or more durable cutting disc. 1.0–1.2 mm is the most recommended thickness, as it offers high cutting efficiency and minimizes damage to the workpiece. Slices around 1.6 mm are relatively stable during cutting. Thicknesses exceeding 2.0 mm are considered heavy-duty cutting; while the slices are durable, there is a risk of overheating.
In general, angle grinders of different sizes should be used with aluminum-cutting blades of the same diameter. If you’re using a 4.5-inch angle grinder, I’d recommend using an aluminum-cutting blade measuring 115 × 1.0–1.2 × 22.23 mm.
When cutting, do not apply light, scraping motions, and do not press down too hard. If necessary, you may apply a small amount of WD-40, motor oil, or cutting oil.
The service life of aluminum-cutting blades is shorter than that of standard cutting blades. Taking a 115 × 1.0 mm blade as an example, it can make approximately 50 cuts when cutting thin aluminum tubing.
Yes. Aluminum cutting discs can cut aluminum sheet, tube, bar, and plate—provided they are specifically designed for aluminum.
Dome’s aluminum cutting discs are suitable for a variety of materials and can cut aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and stone.
